A Christian Writer's Round/Concert celebrating original songs and the stories behind them.

Hosted at the Farragut Church of Christ in Farragut, Tennessee, this FREE EVENT brings together talented Christian songwriters to share their heartfelt creations and the faith-filled journeys that inspired them.

Meet The Songwriters

Ryan Long: Ryan Long is a singer-songwriter from Tennessee whose music blends memorable

melodies, thoughtful storytelling, and a deep spiritual honesty. Raised in Johnson City, Long

began writing songs as a teenager and released his first album in 1998 with support from

friends and the Rich Mullins Foundation. He later became a camp musician for Young Life,

sharing his music with thousands of teenagers across the country. Over the years, Long has

recorded five albums and worked with producers Mark Wagner, Michael Aukofer, and Ed

Cash. He lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his wife and son and continues to write songs

that help people know and feel that they are not alone.

Scott Parker: Scott Parker is an award winning songwriter and producer from Oliver Springs, TN.  Composing Christian, Country and Folk/Rock, Scott’s music has been recorded by several independent artists, in addition to a solo project and two albums with his wife Becky. “My Son, My Savior,” from Finally Home, has been performed by churches around the globe during both Easter and Christmas services. His song “This Side of Sunday” (co-written w/ Mitch Townley and recorded by artist Brent Harrison) was named Song of The Year at the 2019 Inspirational Country Music Awards.  Scott's songs have placed several times at the Smoky Mountain Songwriters Festival competition, winning 1st place in the Inspirational and Rock categories, and also taking home the Listener's Choice award two years in a row.

Hunter Seiber: Hunter Seiber is a singer-songwriter from Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Having sung in church his entire life, Hunter recently deepened his personal relationship with Jesus Christ and now shares His message every opportunity he gets. Whether on a stage, in a church, or even singing for Jesus at Hardee’s, his passion is spreading the Gospel through music. Hunter was the Morgan County qualifier for Tennessee Songwriters Week, earning the opportunity to perform his original gospel song “My Purpose” at the historic Bijou Theatre in Knoxville. He has also performed at the October Sky Festival and continues to write heartfelt songs inspired by faith, life, and his walk with Christ. When he’s not making music, Hunter works at UPS and pursues his ministry through music on the side, using every song as a testimony of God’s goodness.

Mitch Townley (Host): Mitch Townley has live Knoxville, TN since 1996. He has over 75 independent artist cuts, a song featured in a documentary about the Vietnam Memorial and a song which was placed in the TV show "Nashville". His song,’This Side Of Sunday”  (co-written with Scott Parker) was recorded by Brent Harrison and spent 8 weeks in the Number 1 spot on the Christian Country Countdown in May of 2018. In April of 2019, it received the award for 2018 Inspirational Country Song Of the Year from the Inspirational Country Music Association at a ceremony held at the Grand Ole Opry. In addition to performing in songwriter rounds, Mitch also founded the Townsend Abbey First Friday Songwriter Night in 2020. He is also a part of the folk/acoustic trio "At The Jukebox" that performs at senior living facilities and is a the Coordinator of the Knoxville chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
